Q: What is BHA Liquid? and why is it good for treating blackhead and Acne?

A: It’s chemical exfoliator, contains 4% of Betaine Salicylate(PH Level 3.5-4.5). It exfoliates dead skin cells and impurities which is trapped inside in the pores. That’s something manual exfoliators can’t do.

Q: Why do I have to use chemical exfoliator?

A: Removing dead skin cell is important because it will improve the skin’s overall health and appearance. Further more, exfoliating allows your skin to better absorb the other products in your routine and helps them do their job more effectively.

Q: Why is it good for treating Acne, blackheads?

A: Generally, Acne occurs when the skin produces an excessive amount of oil and dead skin cells. BHA liquid exfoliates penetrating deep inside of pores to remove dead skin cells and unnecessary oil. And It also prevents oxidized sebum from turning into blackheads.*

Q.: Can I use BHA Liquid everyday?

A: Use it 2-3 times in a week is recommended. BHA liquid contains 4% of Betaine Salicylate, so It’s not suitable to use everyday.

Q: How to apply BHA liquid?

A: We recommend to use BHA liquid with cotton pad. In that way, you can remove impurities in a better way, and since it is chemical exfoliator we don’t recommend to use them directly with your hands. Use 2-3 times in a week.

Q: My skin type is combination skin, T-zone is oily and other area is dry. How should I use BHA liquid?

A: Use it as a spot treatment. Apply liquid on the cotton pad and gently buff your oily area. (T-zone) and Tap gently to absorb it well. Then move onto the next skincare step.

Q: After apply BHA liquid, Do I have to apply sunscreen?

A: Yes, After apply BHA Liquid, You must apply sunscreen in the day time.

Q. Can I use BHA liquid with Vitamin C serum?

A: As for the Vitamin C product, Each product may have different vitamin C content. Our product, Vitamin C20, is in low pH level which is around a pH level of 3.5, and has high exfoliating function. So it may irritate the skin by using BHA liquid at the same time. Therefore, we recommend you to use it every other day or use it on the problem areas after applying vitamin serum to entire face.

Q. Can I use BHA liquid with other BHA / AHA product?

A: BHA liquid with AHA 7 Liquid - Since both of them are in low pH level (approximately 3.5) and high-functional chemical exfoliators, we don’t recommend you to use them at the same time. But If you want to use it, We suggest you to use it every other day. We also recommend using it in the morning or in the evening. If you want to use it every other day due to the skin issues, we suggest using it 20 minutes after applying AHA7 or use it as a spot treatment.

BHA liquid with AHA/BHA Toner, BHA Skin returning A-sol - AHA/BHA Toner contains 0.1% of BHA and AHA, and A-sol contains 1% of BHA and AHA, so they’re really mild products. Therefore, it’s good to use them with BHA liquid at the same time.

Q: Pregnant/Breastfeeding : Is it safe to use BHA liquid?

A: Since BHA has penetrating property, so we don’t recommend to use them during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Q : What does it smell/texture like?

A: It has water like texture, or slightly thicker than water. we don’t add any fragrances, so it may smell BHA’s characteristic smell but it fades away soon.
